Her Re-Launch: A Career Strategy Program for Women
In today's rapidly evolving job market, many women find themselves at a crossroads when attempting to re-enter the workforce after a career pause. Whether due to caregiving responsibilities, personal reasons, or other circumstances, returning to work can be daunting. They’re up against biases from employers, rapidly changing skill sets, and a lack of support. All of which can impact one’s confidence and self-esteem, letting imposter syndrome creepy in. Her Allies is addressing this challenge by introducing a new six month career development program designed to empower women in re-launching their careers with confidence and success.
Program Overview
Her Re-Launch is tailored for women who are currently out of work, seeking corporate roles, and possess at least three years of professional experience in their respective fields. This program offers a structured approach to career re-entry, providing participants with the tools, resources, and support necessary to relaunch their careers effectively.
Core Program
Mentorship - Participants will be paired with experienced mentors who will provide guidance, support, and advice throughout the program. Monthly mentorship sessions will focus on setting goals, overcoming challenges, and navigating the job market.
Workshops - The program includes monthly workshops covering essential topics such as resume writing, interview preparation, and negotiation skills. These workshops are designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to showcase their talents and secure their desired roles.
Resume and LinkedIn Support - Participants will have access to dedicated sessions for resume and LinkedIn profile review, ensuring that their professional profiles effectively highlight their skills and experiences.
Interview Practice - To help participants feel confident and prepared, the program offers interview practice sessions. These sessions will simulate real interview scenarios, providing valuable feedback and tips for improvement.
Networking Opportunities - Participants will have access to virtual meet-ups and a dedicated Slack channel, allowing them to connect with other program participants who are also navigating the process. Networking is a crucial aspect of career re-entry, and these opportunities will help participants expand their professional networks.
